Important works done by myself during service period:
- Provided assistance during preparation of Industrial Policy, 1086.
- Prepared draft Milk Policy, 1988.
- Introduced privately produced package program for Bangladesh Television.
- Developed Trade Manuals for Non-formal Education.
- Developed detail methodology for Electoral Roll with photograph for Sreepur, Gazipur pilot project and tested it.
- Organized preparation of specifications of equipments for Electoral Roll with Photograph; Prepared tender documents.
- Selected software for electoral roll and acquired those.
- Involved methodology for capturing data for Electoral Roll with Photograph.
- Involved directly in introduction of Translucent Ballot Boxes & Indelible Ink Pen in the election management process in the capacity of National Project Director of two projects naming, “ Support to the Electoral Process in Bangladesh” & Translucent Ballot Boxes Project”, supported by UNDP.
- Made arrangements for publishing election results and transporting all documents electronically, by developing necessary software and by establishing wireless network.
- Modernized training procedures of the Electoral Training Institute.
Ongoing important activities where I am involved:
- Involved in preparation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for preparation of Electoral Roll with Photograph and National Identity Card in the capacity of convener of the committee.
- Involved in the committee for selecting national identity card material; design; security features and all other related issues.
